Webster says move one's limbs or body in vigorous effort to get free; make a vigorous effort under difficulties; try to overcome an opponent or problem, etc. The word struggling means a vigorous effort; a hard contest. You are struggling you say this is good. Why? Because you are moving your body, mind, and soul are being line up for the hill experience. You are in a hard contest. One thing we do know about a contest there must be a winner and a loser. The loser is the devil! Are you on his side, I will answer this question for you; "NO" you are not. The winner is you in the Lord. Let us break the word of God.
Philippians 3:12 ~ 16 - Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Matthew 27:32 ~ Now as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. Him they compelled to bear His cross.
Luke 23:26 & 27 Now as they led Him away, they laid hold of a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after Jesus. And a great multitude of the people followed Him and women who also mourned and lamented Him.
If you are wondering who can relate to your time of struggling is Jesus God's son. Matter of fact, Jesus could not even carry his own cross the whole way. Simon, a Cyrenian who was coming from the country and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after Jesus. The way I see your struggling is now Jesus who is right there with you on the right hand of God Father laid your cross that Jesus might bear your cross after you. Jesus understands, Jesus is no longer going to allow you struggle with your cross; Jesus is there with you; Jesus has picked up your cross, put on the cross, position your cross on his back; proceeding to carry your cross away; praying to the Father on your behalf because your cross. Jesus has the mark for the prize of the high calling of God. Is it too hard for you to bear it? Yes, you were (past) struggling now you are free to enjoy your journey. Please notice the "P's" ~ picked up, put on, position, proceeding, praying and most of all Jesus has your prize for your contest. Hallelujah! The only word is missing is "PRAISE". Only you can do this. Jesus has taken and given you six "P's" and you just have to give him one "P".
Psalm 150:6 Praise ye the Lord! Praise means to rely upon God's protection (other "P") Rely upon God when confronted by any enemy. Rely upon God whenever you are in any kind of distress. Rely upon God in times of natural calamity. Rely upon God in times of political crisis. Rely upon God when confronted with sickness or physical weakness. Other "P" word is Proclaim God's love, mercy and forgiveness to all of Israel. Proclaim His righteousness. Proclaim His mighty acts. Proclaim all that He has done. Proclaim His salvation, day after day! Only you can Proclaim His goodness. I wish I could do this for you but I can't and will not because I love you too much to allow you to struggle any further in this place in your day.
So the next time you are struggling with something reflect, rely and rejoice in the fact that Jesus struggled too but He is not about to let you struggle because He has been there done that.
